Trump condemns 'all types of racism' on one-year anniversary of Charlottesville
President Trump on Saturday condemned “all types of racism” on the eve of the one-year anniversary of a white nationalist rally in Charlottesville, Virginia, and counter-demonstrations in which one woman was killed.

Mr. Trump also said he is “proud to have fought for and secured the LOWEST African American and Hispanic unemployment rates in history.”
“Now I’m pushing for prison reform to give people who have paid their debt to society a second chance. I will never stop fighting for ALL Americans!” he tweeted.
Activists were holding a rally in Charlottesville Saturday to commemorate last year’s tragedy, amid heavy police presence in the town.
After the violence last year, Mr. Trump blamed “both sides” for contributing to the clashes. His comments prompted widespread criticism for failing to single out white supremacists.
